Position Overview:

As an Events Coordinator at Fashion Thrift Society, you will play a pivotal role in organising and executing our fashion market events in Australia and the United Kingdom. You will have the exciting opportunity to travel to every city in Australia to help coordinate our events and ensure they run seamlessly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and coordinate fashion market events, including vendor coordination, installation coordination, crowd management and logistics management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and installations to ensure their participation and satisfaction.
  • Create and manage event schedules and timelines.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, management and breakdown.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing attendee needs and feedback.
  • Monitor event performance and provide post-event analysis and reports.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in Event Management or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or TAFE completed).
  • Proven experience in event coordination and management, particularly in the fashion industry.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including to every state in Australia.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and the fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
